Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (these "Terms") set out the conditions of use for the application "受験プランナー" (Entrance Exam Planner) (the "App") provided by Gradimeli ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you (the "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Application of These Terms

These Terms apply to all relationships between the User and us in connection with the use of the App. By downloading or using the App, the User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

The App is a tool that helps users preparing for university entrance exams manage their study plans and study records. Core features are provided free of charge, and certain additional features become available through a one-time in-app purchase.

3. Prohibited Conduct

When using the App, the User must not:

Violate any applicable law or public order and morals
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Reproduce, modify, resell, or redistribute all or part of the App without authorization
Infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights
Unlock or bypass in-app purchase features through unauthorized means
Engage in conduct that may interfere with the operation of the App
Engage in any other conduct that we deem inappropriate

4. Intellectual Property

All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights relating to the App belong to us or to third parties who rightfully hold them. Nothing in these Terms grants the User any license to our or any third party's intellectual property beyond the right to use the App itself.

5. Handling of Your Data

All data you create or enter in the App (registered reference books, study records, goal information, etc.) is stored only on your device and is not stored on our servers. As a result, this data may become unrecoverable in situations such as:

Device failure, loss, or theft
Uninstalling the App or switching to a new device
OS updates or other unexpected issues

We strongly recommend regularly exporting your data using the Backup feature in the Settings tab.

6. In-App Purchases

Paid features (one-time unlock) in the App are purchased through the payment systems provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The terms and policies of the respective store govern the purchase process, refunds, and related matters. We do not offer independent refunds beyond what each store's policies provide.

If the User is a minor, the consent of a parent or other legal guardian must be obtained before purchasing any paid feature in the App. If a purchase made without such consent is challenged under Article 5, Paragraph 2 of the Civil Code of Japan (or an equivalent provision), we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

We make no express or implied warranty that the App is free of factual or legal defects, including but not limited to defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights.

Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damages arising from the App, including but not limited to the loss of study records.

8. Changes to or Discontinuation of the Service

We may change the content of the App, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to the User. We are not liable for any damages arising from such changes, suspension, or termination.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms without prior notice to the User when we determine it necessary. The revised Terms take effect once posted within the App or on this page.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location.
