About

Supporting learning, one step at a time.

Gradimeli builds applications that support learning. From university entrance exams to everyday campus life, we build products that meet learners where they are, without asking too much of them.

Where the name comes from

The name Gradimeli comes from the Latin words gradior, "to walk step by step," and melior, "better." Rather than demanding a big change all at once, we want learners to be able to move forward steadily, each at their own pace — that idea became our name.

What we're working on now

We currently develop two applications that support students' everyday learning.

受験プランナー (Entrance Exam Planner) is a study planning and record-keeping app for students preparing for university entrance exams. It turns day-to-day effort into something visible, through task management, study time tracking, and progress tracking for each reference book.

コマ秘書 (Komahisho) supports university students' everyday classes. Once you register your timetable, it automatically organizes the photos, recordings, and notes you take during class by course and session.

What we care about

A few principles guide how we build our products.

  • Keep data on the user's own device whenever possible, and avoid collecting what we don't need
  • Avoid over-loading features — design for a pace users can sustain
  • Listen carefully and update our products thoughtfully

Looking ahead

Gradimeli plans to keep adding products that support learning and growth, one at a time. If you have feedback or requests, please feel free to reach out through our support page.
